Prizes and awards are funded by sponsors and by the SEE, as detailed above. Rules for establishing and awarding the prizes are proposed by the Awards Committee and approved by the Organizing Committee.
1. Young Engineers Prizes
1.1 The Award is presented during the closing session of RADAR'09. The prizes will be delivered to the Awarded attending this closing session. If an Awarded is not present, the prize will be delivered to the next best paper.
1.2 Conference prizes are awarded to Young Engineers who submit the most outstanding paper in the opinion of RADAR'09 TPC.
1.3 The Young Engineers Prizes is considered an international award. Members of the TPC, excluding the Conference Chairman and Conference Secretary, shall be eligible provided they are not party to the decision making.

This list should be given to the StC and arrangements made for some members to attend the presentation of each paper. Any outstanding presentation not on the final list, which arises during the week, can be considered. The final recommendation will usually be made by the TPC of RADAR'09 to the StC, but if necessary the decision can be made with the members of both Committees present.
